Die Port van Cleve is a 4 star hotel, perfectly located in the heart of Amsterdam behind the Royal Palace on the Dam Square. At this beautiful location, surrounded with canals, nearby the shopping and entertainment centers, you can enjoy the real Dutch atmosphere.
The hotel is housed in a monumental 18th Century building, proclaiming a rich history, being built in the first brewery of Heineken. Just recently we have completely renewed our hotel - restaurant behind the monumental historic facade and brought it to the requirements of modern travelers.
After the renovation "Die Port van Cleve" was reopened on May 28th, 1997 by Mr. A.H. Heineken, President Director of Heineken Holding and grandson of Mr. G. A. Heineken - who founded the Heineken company on the spot where "Die Port van Cleve" is located now.
